GS400 Opinion Wanted

GS400 Opinion Wanted
On the trunk I'm thinking about debadging the "LEXUS" logo, leaving the "L" and lowering the "GS400" about one half inch, or leaving that alone.
Part of me loves it, part of me doesn't: Stock- it is balanced, but semi-redundant as many auto companies don't need a logo and spelled word on their cars. (Lexus did change this in 2011 from what I learned here) Mod- less balanced, but more sporty, cleaner perhaps, but hopefully not odd looking. My tag number is edited to fake one in the pictures below.
Any opinions would be greatly welcomed!

If do I decide to do this right, I've already done the much needed planning to retain the "GS400" geometry if I lower it. Also the exact "LEXUS" placement if I ever need to put it back-
Respectfully, Ya'acov

You might take the "LEXUS" off but leave the "GS400" where it is. Lowering it would make it look like it was previously in a rear end wreck and emblem replaced in an off location.

Thank you for the feedback! That means a lot to me.
I did consider just debadging the "LEXUS" and leaving the "GS400" in place. I did not think about looking like it was put in the wrong place, but rather, most auto brands don't have them flat horizontally in a line, but staggered. I think either way without the "LEXUS" it looks a little cleaner maybe.
This is what the aforementioned would look like:

I believe the 11+ models have left off the left side "LEXUS" badges so it wouldn't really look out of place.

Very good look for the car.
Also, my comment on the "wreck"/cheaply done repair was more towards moving the "GS400" emblem from its original location. I don't oppose removing the left hand "LEXUS" emblem as that is how the new models roll from the factory.

I appreciate all the feedback litesoarer and liazon! I did think about sanding the emblems slightly to scuff them for gloss black paint. If I do that, I am the type to want to redo everything to match though, including the chrome window trim, and that would all take a long time. I actually like the chrome look, I just wish it was all real metal, like aluminum. I know I can dream right! I didn't know our cars came stock with black emblems though, that is interesting.
Any more opinions on this, maybe some one else is thinking of doing this?

Leave gs400 in origional location and either debage lexus or leave it. Personally i think it looks best stock because the emblems are small and not cluttered like some cars.

Thank you Yada! I do think stock it looks fairly balanced. That part of me loves it.
Thanks Bhubb18, It does look clean, I also like this look! I do like having the model badge though.
ThomasGS4, thank you for the tips! I'm sure I could get away with removing it in the paint, I'm just still undecided on this.
I know if I leave it stock the LEXUS will bother me, but if I remove it, I know it'll mess with me knowing its not stock! I wish they made them with out the LEXUS badge. On the other hand, my car is far from stock.

I"m always a big fan of stock when it comes to stuff like this. Not to trash your ideas or anything as personal taste is just that and if it makes you happy then go for it man! Just saying, I like the way my car looks straight from the factory.

No I appreciate the opinions that's why I made this thread! Thank you a lot! The look does make me happy, but it's been two weeks and I haven't done it. I still like the way it looks factory as well. I'm not afraid of messing things up, as I've been detailing a little while, but I'm afraid I won't like it.

Yes, I actually tried a mock up of that first as well! I concluded that there probably isn't enough space on the trunk on the bottom for the 2GS. I don't know how I feel about the larger 3GS "L" emblem in general, I think I actually prefer the smaller 2GS one here.
A good example of this is the Aston Martin DB9 trunk shape and badging is more like the 2GS and the Vantage trunk is more like the 3GS.

New "L" emblem and "GS400" moved down. See how there isn't much room at the bottom for the emblem?
