So the code isn't related to issues with the cat right after the sensor I just replaced but with the cat or exhaust leaks after the bank 2 sensor 2 sensor?

Any leak between the manifold and downstream O2 sensor can cause that code. sensor 1 is upstream, sensor 2 is downstream.

OK so this is probably a problem under the hood not under the car.

Would a muffler shop be able to check for any leaks in this area?

The leak usually occurs at the flanges connecting the pipes together. Look in those areas for soot. Otherwise, run the car and run your hands along the pipe and feel for exhaust gas escaping. If its bad enough to flag the code, you should be able to feel it.

That being said, are you sure this code and the prior are not related? A failing upstream AF sensor can cause the downstream to flag inefficiency codes. Has this code been cleared and returned since you fixed the upstream sensor?

Thanks. I have cleared the codes after I installed the new sensor. Plenty of times in fact. The P0430 always returns about 10 - 15 minutes later. First as pending, then when the cat switches to a ready state as a CEL code.

Before I changed sensors I would occasionally see this code along with the P0155 sensor code.

When it gets a little warmer I will get under and check for any exhaust leaks. Hoping its a leak rather then needing to get a new cat.
