Thanks Mcon, I got some carpet cleaner, wondering if I can coat the carpet with some Baking soda? To get rid of the smell?

Trust what I say. Years a go in a previews car, I broke a dozen of eggs in the back of the car. I clean the carpet immediately, but two days later began to smell very bad. My neighbor told me to buy a clear vanilla and in two days, the smell was gone and smelling of vanilla for over two years. The car is left with pleasant vanilla scent. The smell really not was strong at all.
