245/40/17 on gs430 17's?

Default 245/40/17 on gs430 17's?
Hi, was wondering if anyone ever ran those tire size on the factory 17" gs430/400 wheels? I know my current tire size is 235/45/17. 245/40/17 too wide for the 17x8 wheels? Thank you

I don't run that size, but it will be fine.

245 will be fine width wise on an 8" wheel, but 245/40 will be a little smaller than 235/45 (about 2.5% difference)

Thank you, it's cuz someone local has all four brand new tires for under $400 dot date is 2015.

so 245/45 r17? how would u get to a 0%difference there used to be an online calculator.

There still are, more than ever. You just had to Google "online tire size calculator" or read the stickied threads about tire sizes instead of bumping a 5 year old thread.
