this is a two year old problem and ive just now gotten motivated to fix it. i know theres no manual crank to open or close it.....anyway i went to close it one morning when i got to work it would only close halfway then reopen ala pinch protection and it was cloudy that day so i forced it closed now it will sink down like it wants to open but then it just sticks. wont open or tilt. any advice would be appreciated

Do you check if the system have power or ground? Check the fuse of the sunroof. If all this are good. Is maybe the motor that died. One of my friend have a camry and the sunroof no want to open. I check the plug, power and ground and just start working perfect after I plug in back. Sometime the connector just do not make good contact and doing that. The connector make better contact and the equipment begins to work again. I hope and this is your case and not the motor of the sunroof that died.
