How to replace 120 amp alt fuse?
I have a 2002 GS300 and the 120 amp alt fuse failed. I bought a new one on Ebay, but I can't figure out how to remove the old one and install the new. I did a Google search and found about 15 posts asking the same question with no answers. I went to a dealer for help and they told me I would be charged for the info or I could bring in the car and they would do the work. If they did the work, I would end up paying around $100 to install a $15 fuse.
Can anyone help me? Thx.

The fuse block is a little tricky but not impossible to remove/disassemble.
*Step one as always is remove battery*
Take off the top cover and unbolt the box from the body.
Around the edges of the box on the inside are tabs that hold the interior of the block to the outer casing. These need to be pushed back to allow for the inside section to be lifted upwards (Thats the tricky part). There may also be a cover on the bottom of the block that comes off in the same way. Been a while since I've taken that block out.
Once you can access the bolts securing the fuse it's just a matter of replacing the part and reassembling the block.
GL, looking forward to an update.
