Default 2001 GS 300 Air mix part number

I have a 2001 GS 300. Every time I turn on the engine, I hear a fairly loud noise coming from the glove compartment area or the center of the dashboard. The sound stops after 5-10 seconds but there is a constant clicking noise coming from the same area. I was told one of the air mix needs to be replaced but we don't know which one (driver's side? Passenger's side?). How can I find out which one I need to replace? Also, what are the part numbers for each air mix?
