led window switches on door panel
Hey guys i recently swapped out my grey interior for black but yet to install the door panels.
So while the door panels are sitting inside my closet i figured maybe i can swap the bulbs on the window switches for some led bulbs, I ended up taking one of the switches apart and it looks like it is an led bulb already so? has someone already done this? also i know there is going to be some solder work and i am prepared for that. But now is there a certain size bulb i should be working with as in voltage wise etc? thanks

Honestly bro they look like they may be 0603 SMD LED's but I'm not certain they are. Like these. I was going to change all mine out until I saw they were those type, unless you have good tweezers, and patience, and know how to tap forget it.... It's doable though obviously... I'll do mine one day, maybe you can verify if they are the 0603, if there not, there very dam close

holy flying ***** took the switches apart and they were the sqaures ones will atleast the driver side control i took the rear one apart and its an actual led bulb but i tired soldering another led bulb but it did not seem to come out do they have seprate fuse?

I don't think there is a thread where someone actually states the exact size of the bulbs honestly, I've read through SO MANY! But if so, great! Post the link! Anyhow you know they are polarity sensitive right? If the bulbs attached opposite of there terminals I'll say, and polarities are attached to there opposites, gotta flip em.

Okay so this is what he got back to me with, he believes they are this bulb: 0805 SMD bulbs
