Question Please help with p0 440 p0 446 already did ecu reset

Greetings dear fellow forum members!

My car is 2002 GS430 with 160 ODO

So far everything went well and never replaced any sensors that usually fail on most vehicles after 100K ODO.

Last week check engine light went on I ran codes through AutoZone and came up with 440 and 446. Forum search yielded recommendation to reset ECU with fuse in hood. This resolved the problem only temporarily. The CEL came back on two weeks later. Second time I resent ECU the CEL came on 3 days later. This leads me to believe some sensor is tripping it off.

Please help me ID the problem part/sensor. I already checked vacuum hoses and gas tank cap, charcoal canister and other vacuum/pressure lines under the hood.

Whats the probability it is the vapor pressure sensor? Is it a common failure at my mileage on my car? Any other suggestions perhaps?

Any input/assistance on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very very much

Alex

Check out this thread. I had a similar issue and replacing my evap vent solenoid fixed it.
