Default After a rain, the car runs horrible(?)

Car has about 230K on it. New plugs/wires will be installed soon along with a fuel pump relay; drivers side coil was replaced recently. ECU was repaired and while the car runs stronger, it still has an intermittent stumbling problem.

But when it rains, the drivability issue gets way, way worse for the first 5-10 minutes.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just read a few O2 sensor threads and saw that when the TRAC light is on that can be a sign there is an O2 sensor issue, and ours has been on for 2 weeks I believe.

Your ECU is under the carpet on the passenger side. Check to see if you have a water leak and the ecu is getting wet.
Do you know how to check your trouble codes? This would be your first step (after checking for a wet carpet). If you have a check engine light on you need to get the trouble codes off it.

So when did they move the ecu from under the glove box?

I'd check the current leakage of the high voltage lines especially the distributor cap's inside and out. Any minor crack often causes the leakage especially when the humidity is high. The next step is high voltage cables.

yamae! you beat me to it. I remember my old 93 all of a sudden began to stumble during a week of heavy rain. I replaced caps, rotors and sparks as they were due for change (250k on original caps and rotors in 2008)

Hope its that simple for ya!

Sorry for not being more specific. I have a 1993 SC400. I just pulled my ECU. I was on the kick panel in front of the passenger's seat under a black plastic cover.
