Snow.....
For those who live in snowy areas, how does your GS do in the winter? The snow button seems to help, however do you take additional measures like putting sandbags in the trunk and/or using winter tires?

OH MAN I CANNOT WAIT FOR SNOW TO SEE HOW MY CAR PERFORMS.
This is my first AWD car coming from FWD and it sucks in bad road storms. Plus my car is a So-Cal car in NY so it has YET to even see snow in its lifetime.

My GS hasnt been in snow but when I went to Upstate NY I drove my aunts GS430. She had all seasons on it and it performed like a champ, no weight in the truck. Snow mode really helps, it started in 2nd a few times and allowed the car to move on with no problems. The T/C was kind of annoying but worked. It did get a very sideways at times but I think with a great set of snow's you'll be fine.

Justin, that is impressive. I've heard of many people putting a couple sandbags on each side of the wheels in the trunk. That should provide even better traction. I think I'm going to try that before resorting to winter tires. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.

I was lucky enough to get four snow and ice radials on seperate rims with mine, but they are the wide 17 inchers so I don't know yet, I just got mine.
I plan on taking it easy on the gas pedal and getting used to it and not really driving in blizzard conditions.
One thing that's good is that the car is 3700 pounds so slushy stuff shouldn't upset it too much.
