Vsc, Vsc off, and abs light on 2000 Gs300

reread the entire thread, there are procedures noted for checking your alternator output. Must be done during loaded condition (e.g. current draw at peak). Sitting there idling with nothing on will yield a near no load condition. Your battery has enough capacitance to give you a false "good voltage" ready. Again, reread, rinse, repeat...

Ok so I checked voltage under full load, ac maxed, wipers full throttle, headlights on, sounds blasting with sub, with fan on and its reading 13.5-13.6 volts. I pulled code #P0133.......02 slow response (bank 1, sensor 1) I do t see why my 02 sensor would cause my vsc, vsc off to come on? Can I get some input now from you guys? Much appreciated....

The VSC/TRAC light comes on for just about everything. Start by looking for vacuum hoses disconnected causing a lean condition. At the end of the day, it could be the sensor is in a poor state and needs to be replaced. If you buy a sensor, get a denso, not a bosch.

I have the same lights on VSC OFF ABS TRAC.. But my lights turned on after I hit a curb during reverse. Now it only turns on when I turn the steering all the way to the left (which is same way I hit the curb) but not when I turn the steering to the right. I had the codes but I forgot where I left it. but it was all front sensor . 2 from the vsc left/right, 2 from traction left right, 2 from abs left/right, 1 abs sensor. it said something about a short circuit fail/malfunction. If the lights turn on, I just turn the car off and on again, they turn off. Dealer would charge me 150 to put it in the Diagnostic.. This is the only thing wrong with my car.

Hi guys, I just discovered something that I have not seen mentioned for our limp mode issue. My Air Intake Resonator/Cleaner has crystallized and formed fractures along the bottom edges that let's significant air leak out, which causes vacuum leaks. I was able to examine it and sealed it with metal exhaust tape. I didn't think to take pics, but will get a new one from L-Tunes fot 147.00. I will keep you guys posted. Its been running perfect for 5 days now. No misfire or acceleration hesitation.

The most likely reason for having your VSC, VSC OFF & CHECK ENGINE come on is due to broken wire on one of your O2 sensors connections or possibly your TPS or THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR has become defective.
Another area to investigate is your Air Intake Resonator - this becomes very brittle and the plastic will crack near the heat shield. This may be allowing too much air into the throttle body and generating error codes. Are you experiencing any hesitation - when you're at a full stop and begin to accelerate?
Based on your error codes - these are the areas to investigate.

abs/vsc light.
For lexus and toyota the obd2 pins are the same they dont change. You need codes fr. or further diagnosis. Quick check ,all your tires r the same size. Use a tape measure and measure the circumfrence. variations could cause the light to come on. Or go to the dealer when the light is on and let them scan the vehicle and perform the zero point cal.

2000 gs300
have any one figured out how ro reset vsc light an abs
Hello Everyone! I just the joined the forum and I just purchased a 2000 Gs300. I'm very excited about getting this car and it drives like a dream. First off I want to say I've already spent countless hours looking for a solution and didn't find one. I know some of you will say do a "search" and I have. My scenario is a little different though.
1. The lights come on every once every 4-5 times I drive the car. The brakes are not hard or soft. They feel the same whether the light is on or off. No check engine light.
2. I've tried to do the "zero point calibration" but couldn't get it to work. I've seen a few different diagrams of which the ts and cg terminals of the DLC3 are in different places. I'lll try to attach a photo of the pins in my DLC3. I don't even see contacts that would match up on mine! (The terminals I labeled are in my own order for simplification)
3.What else can I look for to try to isolate?
Thanks everyone for the help!!!!

That happens on my 03GS300 and it is evap system. VSC VSC off and CEL. Got a FIXD scanner for 20 bucks and it tells me. Then I clear it.
