Default Vsc, Vsc off, and abs light on 2000 Gs300

Hello Everyone! I just the joined the forum and I just purchased a 2000 Gs300. I'm very excited about getting this car and it drives like a dream. First off I want to say I've already spent countless hours looking for a solution and didn't find one. I know some of you will say do a "search" and I have. My scenario is a little different though.

1. The lights come on every once every 4-5 times I drive the car. The brakes are not hard or soft. They feel the same whether the light is on or off. No check engine light.

2. I've tried to do the "zero point calibration" but couldn't get it to work. I've seen a few different diagrams of which the ts and cg terminals of the DLC3 are in different places. I'lll try to attach a photo of the pins in my DLC3. I don't even see contacts that would match up on mine! (The terminals I labeled are in my own order for simplification)

3.What else can I look for to try to isolate?

Thanks everyone for the help!!!!

Recent brake job? Suspension swap? Mine came on after that. I did what you did as well and that didn't help.

YxUxMADDDD - I haven't done any suspension or brake work. What did you do to solve the problem, or did you just not worry about it?

I dont know why some of you try to search for the meaning of the universe..

Make it Simple....Take the car to a get the codes read then either calibrated or erase it and go from there..

You need a scanner that is able to read ABS codes. That's the only way bro.

This. This exact problem happened to me before my OEM alternator failed.

Another vote for the alternator. My GS400 did this and the next day the alternator started making a horrible whine. Replaced it and all has been well since.

Easy way to test this.

Start car
Turn on AC to max
Turn on Ws wipers
Turn on headlamps and put on high beam
Turn on stereo

Let engine get hot enough for cooling fan to hit high.

check voltage. If below 13.3v at battery, suspect alternator is on its way out.
Replace with DENSO alternator, the aftermarket ones are junk. May be better to have yours rebuilt at a shop since the rectifiers and brushes are usually the weak links and easily available for replacement.

May sound strange but has your drivers door window started acting weird at times?

Hey guys, Ive had the gs for about 6 months and has been great, but this morning drove it first thing and half way to my destination i have this same vsc, vsc off lights coming on. But the check engine light is on as well. Do you guys think its still the alternator?? Some input asap would be great as this is my daily driver.
