bad creaking from inside wheel: parts replaced
#16
So I just got my ball joints done, motor mounts, tie rods, and an alignment done, whenever I lightly push down or rock my car very lightly up and down I hear a horrible loud creaking noise, we took off the wheel and inspected the plate behind the wheel(passenger side only) tightened everything down again, and can't find anything? I Also had my sway bar links replaced 90 days ago with Moog and they already look rusted like a b#$... Did the other mechanic I went to maybe take me? Why would they be rusted already? What else should I check and could it be the sway bar links?
Thanks for any input guys I appreciate it...

Interesting, so it turned out to be the upper balljoint?
I'm experiencing the same problem. Since I have also replaced the balljoints/tie rods, I was thinking it was either the brake caliper/hardware, upper control arm, or fender liner stress.
I can hear it when I just gently apply the brakes at low speed. Doesn't seem to happen under any other conditions.
