Default How to do the rear view camera without edge from keyhole?

I installed an old rear camera today in my keyhole but it has a ring from the trunk bar.Takes half the screen? Is there a way to get it more flushed or what camera has a better fitment?
I got this camera for $20 a while ago.

Pictures will help with a cure. Without seeing it, first thing I can think of is trim the trunk bar to size.

I have one of these cameras without the mirror.
It was really easy just remove the trunk bar, keyhole lock.
I attached the camera with zip ties lol.But you can't tell, its covered by the trunk cover. It doesn't' shake and it's firmly in place.

I used a heat gun to heat the back of the trunk bar key hole enough to get it soft then I used a screwdriver and rounded it.But it's still not enough.I think I need a bullet type camera?

I have the same set up Brian had ( sakataj ). When I was doing some SEARCHING his thread popped up and I used the same camera he used since I liked how flush it sits. The only problem is that you can't see the rear bumper, but I'm still modifying it to make it stick out at an angle.

Yea I did a little search on this and saw your post Brian. Looked like you had your hooked up to the stock nav unit (when you still had it) I'm gonna look into this a bit further. Thanks!

Thanks for not railing me either B. I know I could've searched on that question I asked. Good look!
