Want to replace the driver window switch, please help
Hi there,
My GS300 Driver side window seems have problem, press on the window switch sometimes the window didn't work.
So I pick up a second hand power switch and want to replace it, but how can I take it off from the door panel?
Thanks.

Man I wish I could put in to words on how to fix it.... Practically impossible.
In short, figure out how to remove the top half of the housing. Once open, be careful cause all parts can fly everywhere and now you dont have a button :/ theres a copper piece of metal that toggles with the switch movement to contact and complete the circuit to open/close window. What happens is that it ends up shorting out for whatever reason and melts that copper thingy and basically warps it. You can just bend it back to normal position to extend far enough to make contact effortlessly. Or switch it from another button from another window Had to do this a few times on my other car
yeah yeah, its easier to just buy one but this process is really only about a 10-15 minute process

In fact, I did purchase a replacement switch box, but just have no ideal how to take the old switch box out from the door panel and re-install it.
Is it need to open all the door panel to take out the original one?
