which one to get first
OK, so i have a small dilemma.lol. i have a GS4 and the previous owner got in an accident in the front bumper. there is no internal damage besides the dent. it just needs a new bumper cover. and also the hood has gotten some paint chipped off from rocks hitting it. so now there are little rust spots, but i was able to put touch up paint on the rust spots.
So i need to get a new bumper cover and a new hood. but idk which one i should get first. i want a carbon fiber hood since i dont want to pay over 500 to get the hood repaired of its rust spots. if you guys were in my situtation. what what you get first? the carbon hood, or the replacement bumper?
ill post pics so you can get a better idea of what im talkin about.
you cant really see the damages on the hood because of the touch up paint that i applied to it.

Judging from the hood you dont have to replace it unless u want to upgrade to the carbon fiber. It also should'nt cost you $500 to repaint....shop around and get estimates. GL

Painting a hood can very well cost $500.
If you want to take a chance of the hood being a tint off from everything else than it would be cheaper than $500. Sure.
But to be safe and make sure there's no issues you would want to blend into the fenders and clear everything.
I'm not a huge fan of CF hoods on the GS. If I were you I'd save up to get new front bumper and have the front end repainted entirely. Maybe get a lip if you want know while your at it.
