Exclamation Falken Azenis PT-722 or General GMAX AS03?

I need some help deciding which tires I should buy for my summer wheels.

I've narrowed it down to 2 selections that are within my budget:

Falken Azenis PT-722: Price about $160/tire, 40K mile warranty, UTQG 440

or

General G-MAX AS03: Price about $170/tire, 40K miles (some website says 45K miles) warranty, UTQG 480.

I'll be running these during the spring, summer and fall only so conditions are primarily wet & dry.

I don't do any racing and only the occassional spirited driving.

Let me know what your experinces are with either tire.

Thanks,

Ken

i'm not familiar with the gmax but i've heard a lot of good things about Azenis, they are quite common.

Well the G-Max are replacing the Exclaim UHP and I thought those were horrible. The new PT-722 from Falken is supposed to have really good treadwear compared to the ZE-912's which burn out super fast. But when it comes to quality for the price in UHP all-season tires I would pick 1st Continental Extreme Contact DWS or Yokohama Avid Envigor.

Looks like the Falken is the winner.

I just picked up a pair of falken azenis and it looks good. Lol I'll be stretching 245/35/19s on a 19X11.5 The funny thing is that my front tires are generals. And I like the generals.

Wow...that would be a real stretch as I had 245/35/19 on 19X10.5

How much did you pay for the azenis?
