Post Advice on Choosing New Rims - 18's

I am looking to get some new shoes for my black GS300.. I am definitely balling on a budget right now.. but don't want to buy a cheap ****ty set of rims.. I have heard mixed things about these ADR rims.. and would like a similar style, but better quality. Im sitting on stock rims now. Please let me know what alternative brands are out there or if these rims are any good. I cant afford 1500 for a set of rims.. 1000 with tires is pushing it but more realisitc.. maybe I can score those free tires from that promotion i saw ha. thank you for any suggestions.

Kepe your stocks, save your money till you can get a decent staggered set off the forums or craigslist. IN DENVER theres two sets for $1000 with wheels AND tires. Look around, deals are there!

I had a set of ADR wheels once, they weren't really that bad quality, just really heavy.

I agree with saving your money and waiting for a nice set of used wheels to be for sale on the forums or craigs.

thanks, what brands should I look out for? I mean i know BBS rims are good quality, but I really dont know any other quality company names. Also, I was not planning on getting a staggered set, are there any handling differences between staggered and unstaggered rims, or it it just for looks/style?

Save your money and buy some Varstoen's when you stack a little. They're cheap, but still nice starter wheels.

I'm not digging those man. I agree with Luxury, you can find a nice set of Varrstoens for a few hundred bucks more. Hell I'd even consider XXR's.

im feeling the Varrstoen's for sure.. any other good quality companies? also can anyone with a gs300 driving with staggered rims, tell me the +/-'s of getting a staggered set? I am pretty sure i am not going to get staggered rim, unless there is a big handling difference on the gs3

save your cash and stack til you can get some good wheels, those arent anything to skimp out on, because you will just end up getting another set..
