Update, Weird thing, I pulled the 10a heater fuse from driver side kick panel and the blower works witht he fuse pulled OUT. im not sure if my AC is working but th eblower and all functions of the heat work but only with the fuse pulled out.. As soon as i replaced it the blower stopped working. Why is this?

Im also going to check today to see if the battery drain is still present with the fuse pulled out. my thought and theory would be with the fuse pulled out it shouldnt work at all

Check the voltages on that fuse panel If I remember I had similar issues so it could be the body control on that side or corroded terminals in the fuse box. Your getting close

how/where do i check for voltage to the fuse panel? It may be something with that because the tail lights wont work unless there is a wire jump to the fuse next to it. ill take a picture and post back later. do you know if a body control from a 01 gs300 would work in my 99 gs4? i have the passenger side bodycontrol from the 01gs3 and it fits fine and things seemed the same but i notced few numbers are different?

In the manual I posted there is a section on testing the voltages for the fuse panel. I do no know about the body control for each year. Search on google

I have not yet, called a few salvage yards and only thing I can find is out of a 01 gs300. i wanted to try and swap driver side body control as well as the ecm. Soon as I get home tonight im going to get the volt meter out and do a few more tests

I couldnt find anything on google about compatability of different control modules for our cars. im trying to see if all the fuse amperage are the same for the 2 years because i know the pin conenctor fits for the 2 years. the only thing different on the 2 body controls are like 3 numbers the first set of numbers are identical

When I did my voltage test on the heater fuse the voltage to ground was reversed (wrong side of the fuse) from the manual. I have not rechecked it since I changed the ECM (since everything works now) and the manual I posted was for a 2000 and mine is a 1998. Not sure if it was reversed because of ECM (since I did not recheck) but I doubt anything was changed between 1998 and 2000. Do the check ( per manual) and see if you have the same issue.if you do when I get back home ( I'm traveling right now) I can recheck mine to see if it's per the manual if so it may be a good indication of it being the ECM. Post a new string asking for someone in your area to let you swap the ECM to verify.

I suspect its the ECM you should post to find someone to swap with to verify so you don't waste the money on an ECM till you verify.

no i have not, i found a fuse box from a 98 gs300 i was gunna ask here if it was compatible with a 99 gs400, looks identical. wanted to make sure before I buy.

When I was on the phone with lexus telling them my problems, he couldnt help me that mucha nd wanted me to bring it in but i told them how the previous owner has a jumper wire( speaker wire) from tail fuse to other fuse location and tail light wont work if wire is not there and how the heater blower only work when fuse is UNPLUGGED lol and he said it very well could be fuse box and something could of shorted inside it, but before i could ask if it was compatible he cut me of and basically told me i had to bring it in and couldnt help me no more over the phone. so im hoping its the fuse box which is also causing the parastitic drain also.

do you or anyone on here know if a fusebox from a 98 gs300 would fit a 99 gs400, they look exactly the same but maybe there wired differently just wanted to see if someone knew if it was interchangeable?
