It jump timing before i took the timing belt off , is there a diagram out there for me to get to go step by step and reset my timing......

I thought the V8's were interference motors? so if the timing belt jumped or snaped while running then it would damage the valves and cause zero compression even if the timming was put back right.

And where do i go to get the japan motors and transmissions cheap? building one up out of the car would be alot easier for me.

jdmenginezone.com is where i got mine. i am very pleased. i also got the 1uzfe timing belt kit off ebay that has all the oem mfg parts in it. It all worked very well together for me. one suggestion replace the radiator hoses also with gates. and be sure and have the genuine toyota FPIG, that stuff is awesome.

about 3 hours, its pretty easy.

it been in for about 20000 miles now and runs like a champ, uses no oil......i could be happier. when this one wears out i will get another.

I'm doing the same jdm v8 swap as well. I wanted to did you have any problems with the shift linkage and transmission mount not lining up right ?
