My stereo cuts off when the bass is about to hit and entire radio cuts out not just the sub. I have added an line out converter and tapped the sub speaker wires for signal. I am running a LOC with a self powering remote turn on lead. When I have the car started is when I have the issue, with car in acc mode it's fine. Any thoughts?

check your alternator, do you have an aftermarket amp? it might be underpowered, i experience this in my old car. the stereo would cut off when the bass is about to hit or the volume is reaching high levels.

Where did you hook up GND?

I had the same system in my previous gs too so I don't think it's underpowered. Any other ideas?
