Advice on buying a 2003 GS430??
Ok guys my little brother is now making some really nice money and wants to be like big brother and own a Lexus..
He loves the GS430 but there isn't a 2002 Millenium Silver with Sport Package and NAV to be had in all of Canada so it looks like he will be ordering a 2003 model..
This that he is going to order:
2003 GS430 Millenium Silver on Black Leather
Sport Package
Navigation
Non-Chrome wheels (If he can get the Chrome deleted from the Sport Package)
What he wants additionally:
Wood Grain Interior Package
Xpel Hood, Bumper & Mirrors
17" Winter rubber to go on the non-chrome wheels
Transfer of the factory Summer tires onto my old 17" Chrome Wheels that I am giving him
Is there anything else that you think he should look at getting included into his deal.. I suggested L-Tuned Exhaust but he wants to go after the TOMS exhaust at a later date..
BTW they will be deleting 2 colours from the 2003 GS model and from what the my sales guy told me the GS isn't up for change till the Fall of 2004 as a 2005 model but i'm not sure if he is blowing smoke or what..
Any advice would be most appreciated!

not sure about the pricing/competition in the great north..but for something you just described, you can get one in LA with 17" chromes(only come that way) and NO wood steering:eek:
, you are looking at~U$D of 49500+ tax and fees..basically $1k over invoice
btw, i am referring to 02s
unless the things/accessories that he likes can be bought from the dealer at rock nottom prices, you knwo it is always better to get them outside..dealers source them out anyway and make a BIG profit of you....ie, 19"work chrome wheels and pirellis, $6750..here at LA dealer:eek:

The Sport Package does come with the 17" Chrome GS wheels but my guy will swap them out with another car on the lot and score us a price break too.. I do hear where you are coming from with regards to the aftermarket stuff but I should be able to get $3000 off that list price and have them include all what my brother wants (ie. Wood, Xpel, Tire Swap) on this '03 model..
Just want to see if there is anything aftermarket wise that would be good to get now while we are still making the deal..

I'd suggest L-Tuned springs/shocks also. The consensus in past discussions seems to be that THAT ought to be the base factory suspension regardless of tire/wheel combo.
