Default how to check power steering fluid

I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to read the power steering fluid lvl on a 2002 GS 300... I dont know how to read the dipstick on the cap it says cold on one side and hot on the other but again I dont know how to read it I just want to know if I'm at the proper lvl or not... thnx in advance

The hot line is the side you read when the engine has ran for a while and is at operating temp.
The cold line is the side you read when the car has not run and the engine is cold.
