The second generation GS300 still fetches a high price in Australia, anywhere from $9,000 to $20,000+. In Australia these cars were $100,000 when new.
Also we never got the GS400 or GS430 which was a real shame!
Maybe that's why you don't see many, and we love them so much.
Cheers, & happy New Year.

Bought my 1998 GS300 Burgundy from Greenacre, Sydney about 4 months ago. Flew down from Coffs and drove the car home. Had my first introduction to the dreaded 100km/hr shake on the Freeway. Didn't realise back then though. Thought it was wheel balancing issue. Now all front suspensions refreshed and much better to drive, still shake occassionally. Love to drive the car. Great comfortable cruiser on the Freeway.
Thanks to this forum, I have been able to carry out most maintenance myself. So a big cheers to everyone and a Happy New Year 2011.

Hi Greenspeed, you got yours about the same time we got ours. we drove to Sydney tho, my wife's astra was due for major service and I hated driving it.
