My 430 Hesitates when you punch it!! HELP!!

This could also be a transmission issue. If it doesn't "kick down" into a lower gear right away, you won't get that surge of acceleration. Try putting the shift lever into the 2nd gear position, and taking the car up to 40 MPH. Hold it at that speed for a few seconds, then go wide-open with the throttle. If the thing doesn't surge instantly and lay you back in your seat HARD, then it could be any of the problems discussed above (o2 sensor, fuel filter, etc...). If it does respond, then it may be something with the transmission (which, like the throttle, is also regulated by an electronic "nanny").

The car is going in the shop tomorrow......What I plan to have done:
1. Clean MAF sensor
2. Clean Throttle Body
3. Change spark plugs
4. Change fuel filter.....
I'll let you know what happens.... Cause I highly doubt that Lexus would make a car lag the way this does.... It can't be right..I've had many older lexus models and never have I encountered an epidemic such as this....... IT WILL BE SOLVED!! I NEED MY FULL 300hp and 310 Torque....ALL OF IT!! WITH NONE TO SPARE PLEASE HAHA

Every '01-'03 GS430 that i drove had this hesitation so this is pretty much normal and unresolved on a Stock car, though my '05 don't have this problem - i'm not sure what Lexus did to alleviate this problem but my '05 runs like a champ with no hesitation, but still doesn't feel as natural as my '99 GS400..

I have to disagree with you. I owned a 01 GS430 for 8 years and I never had an issue with hesitation. When I hit the gas, the car took off. When I had the 3.76 lsd installed, it took off like a bat out of hell. Now the 2000 GS300 I had prior to my 430 did suffer from hesitation especially when I was crawling on the freeway (about 5 to 10mph) and needed to change lanes quickly. It would take about 1/2 second to kick in.
Well Sir - your 430 was above the norm cause i've met others and driven many 430's which all had this quirky throttle response.. until i found my '05. But still none was better than the GS400.
