GS400 strange problem with car at highway speed
I've been having a weird problem with my GS at speed. When im on the highway doing between 60-80mph it seems like the rear of the car is "wiggling". I cant think of any better word to describe it. The car doesnt feel planted it feels really loose. The car also has a pull to the right (assuming just needs an alignment).
I have read all the prior "shake at 65mph threads" and that doesnt seem to be my problem. I do have a very slight shake in the steering wheel at highway speed along with while braking. My first thought was that one of my rear calipers is seized causing the wiggle and shaking.
HELP?

Check the tire rating as well. If the rating is below what is recomended for the car, it will do that. Mine did that cause i ordered below rating snow tires once and had similar issue.

Maybe you have been driving too many BMW's
On stock wheels and suspension my car felt like it was floating and ready to flip at any second, I dunno if that's the same feeling that your getting but wheels and suspension did help greatly.
Vibrating while breaking could be warped rotors.

Thanks everyone for the great replies. Im gonna try and get the car in tomorrow for a roadforce balance and hope everything checks out.
As for the wiggle, it doesnt seem like the car is going to flip over. It just seems like your body is wiggling back and forth when driving fast. haha its impossible to describe.
Unfortunately i havent been driving enough BMWs to feel weird in this car. This along with the 2010 RX are the first luxury cars in the family.
