Risk of the change.
Brought my car to my brother in law to change the filter. He had heard from a number amount of people that when changing the fuel filter it causes the fuel pump to fail. Has this happened to anyone on here? And from now seeing these pictures I am definitely going to change the filter.

^...seems dangerous to me. I scrap my exhaust (especially the Y-pipe area) all the damn time...especially going over speed bumps slowly. I can just picture puncturing this thing and then who knows what could happen. ;(
As far as changing this filter...I am game as well. I will look into buying an OEM one from Carson soon.
***P.S. to all that have changed the filter so far - how is your fuel pump holding up? Any difference in gas mileage and/or performance? Thanks!
