My memory seat has never worked. I had Lexus take a look at it when they did my timing belt but they could not diagnose it since they just looked to see if they could get it working.

So, from what I can gather, I need to test 2 parts.

The memory seat switch in the door.

and/or

The memory seat ECU.

I have found both on ebay and am willing to take a crack at this.

Can someone help me with the following....

1. Help me figure out how to get the door skin off so I can get to the buttons.
2. Tell me where the memory seat ECU is.
3. How to test if they work/which one if ant is broken when I pull them out...will a multimeter work?

id assume both are running to a relay which in turn would power the memory function...so i would figure out which wires are coming from both pieces in question and multimeter them, before and after the relay.

as for panel removal, i couldnt tell ya as i dont have one yet

maybe wiring schematics posted here?
