Hockey Puck Jack Pad
I was a little concerned about using the front center jack point with my floor jack as my saddle was larger then the jack point. The jack point also has a lip that I did not want to crush. I read in some other posts about how some used a hockey puck for a jack pad or purchased a specialized pad for their floor jack to use it on the side pinch weld. I decided to cut up some pucks to see how they worked. I tried using a piece of wood first but that cracked. I tested out the pucks tonight and I think they will work. Anyone else have any experience using pucks?

I would use a floor jack on the center diff with jack stands on either side for safety either at the inside frame rails or the rear jack points just in front of the rear tires. Make sure you have the front tires blocked as the parking brake is for the rear wheels that will be up in the air.
