Default Pic of my TOM's Install

Hi,

I just wanted to share some pics of my TOM's install from about a month ago. The following items were installed:

6-piece suspension brace kit
Rear LCB
Front LCB with braces
Rear STB

The TOM's stuff has further enhanced the handling and responsiveness of my GS which already had the L-tuned/TRD components. Definitely less play in the chassis, greater steering responsiveness and flatter cornering in front and especially the rear. The best thing is I did not notice any degradation in the ride quality.

The first couple of pics are of the Front LCB and the last is the rear section.

Yikes, the pics are big! Sorry, don't post on the web too often. I took the pics using 1600 x 1200 camera resolution, how do I get smaller sizes when posting?

Nice looking bars

one question:

is the TOM's A brace piece the same piece as the TRD member brace? or no? Looks like it's the same piece but the size is alittle different.

Default sweet

Very sweet. I think I will look into those. Where is the best price for a set?

Also, it appears that your rear end cover has been off. Can I ask for what reason?

TOM'S front lower chassis brace has 2 additional points connected to the chassis compared w/TRD one.

very nice looking man.

i think the closed rear LCB would fit on cars with Greddy because it has no after cat resonators...

thanks for the pics didnt know front LCB had those 2 extra mounting points!

Thanks for the compliments.

GlobeCLK,
The TOM's front LCB differs from the TRD LCB in that is attaches directly to the chassis and had two brace links. The TRD LCB attaches to a triangular stamped metal piece which is attached to the chassis. This indirect attachment point probably yields a little more flex. You'll notice from the pics that the triangular ends on the TOM's are much larger as they are replacing the OEM triangular stamped metal piece.

Kyle3481,
I currently have the L-tuned springs/shocks. I may decide to do Advox at some time later on. Please post feedback when you get your Advox installed.

Mayandoom,
Steve Ganz is the man with the best prices on TOM's. The rear end cover my look different because I have the TRD LSD.

GSMan,

did you get your TOMS installed in Jim Falk LExus in BEV HILLS? I was talking to lead tech there (Chris) and he said a crazy badass 430 had the whole toms system install on the car and I was wondering if that was you

GSMan: Thanks for the post, the setup looks awesome. I noticed you have TRD swaybars as well. Which component helped the GS improve its handling more dramatically; TRD swaybars or TOMs kit?

Thanks.
