I recently changed my tie rods and ball joints and put 20's on my 98 gs 300. I then got an alignment. Everything seemed fine till I turned down the music and kept hearing a loud clunking noise while I'm driving. I don't think its the upper control arm because I changed it last year. Its kinda weird cause I don't hear it when I press the gas or the brakes. I only hear it when I let go of the acceleration pedal. Does anyone have any clue what's going on? Thanks

It could be a wheel bearing going bad, do you have any vibrations through the wheel?

Driveshaft maybe? Is it worse when turning? left, right, or the same?

Sorry everyone. I just paid closer attention. its coming from the back tire on the driver side. I never had any problems with the back. Im thinking the wheel isnt on properly. Thats the only thing i can come up with. Ill check it tomorrow. In the meantime. Any suggestions?
