will insurance pay for stuff like rock chips from freeway driving? i might as well get a brand new bumper and pay the $500 deductable

i did run over a bucket on the freeway which scratched up the side as well.. maybe i could use that as an excuse?

got another quote from a reputable body shop near my work.. $1100 (brand new bumper + paint)

what the hell??

you'll be surprised how good of a job my guy does. He can get the bumper repainted for ridiculously cheap but soakgame decided to pay more and go elsewhere. oh well. Not my wallet.

Insurance usually do not pay for rock chips over time. That is just wear and tear. If there is an incident that caused damage, you can try getting it covered as part of your comprehensive coverage. If it happens to need a full bumper repaint to properly repair that damage, then oh well.

FINALLY got my bumper done.. took a while but it was worth every penny

the simplicity and beauty of the GS.. still looks better than 90% of the newer cars out there today

Looks great, not a perfect match, but close enough!

Who'd you end up going with? And how much?
