Default 99 gs300, fog lights "on/off" indicator?

just curious, is there any indicator, or fog lights "on or off" on the instrument cluster? the car is from the states, i know it has a headlights are on indicator on the instrument cluster, but other than looking outside to see if the fog lights are on, or right on the signal arm that the switch is twisted to the on position, is there any other indicators on the cluster?

because the fogs won't come on unless the headlights are on and when the headlights are on you have an indicator.

Do you really need a dummy light to tell you if your fogs are on?

the fogs are designed to not shoot far from the car, but rather to illuminate the lower front area of the car. its hard to see if they are on or not. you really only notice they are helping when u switch them on and off.

the main issue is we got **** cops here. been pulled over before in my previous car cuz i had my fogs on when there was no fog around. technically, the motor vehicle book says they are to assist in less than desirable lighting conditions, but hey, you try arguing with a cop, he'll just try to bust u on something else.

anyhow, i was more or less curious as OTHER cars have at least some indicator saying that the fog lights are on.

.
mine are yellow so it's easy to tell if they're on. sometimes I turn them off because I like the crisp blueish light from the hids and the yellow halogen fogs make the lights seem , uh.........yellowish.

thats the point, though the switch is on the same arm, i cant tell if they are on or not unless i actually flick them on and off to see if they are on or not. they come in handy when visiting my parents, their back alley has no street lights.

anyhow, thanx for all the replies... i was more curious to see if there was an indicator, then that would mean one of my instrument cluster lights is out.
