doin some more research...

If for example VeilSide had their same bumper in Poly Urethane, but was priced slightly higher would you buy it over the fiberglass?

Or is it more about the style rather than material?

Always urethane over fiberglass. Urethane has more flex in it and usually "finishes" better than fiberglass. Specifically on a black car it is very easy to see imperfections in the actual fiberglass, waves etc, than it would be in urethane.

With more flex means less chance of damage when hitting the bottom on speed bumps, driveways or the curb!

I heard that Japanese fiberglass is super strong, and lighter than Urethane. Those kit like IMC/Explosion are made of very well made fiberglass

The material is a factor when I choose the bodykit. However, it's not the most important one. Of course, if there are PU and fiberglass in the same style, I'd pick the PU in a heart beat no matter what.

Maybe racecars will care more about the material because they demand the lightest...... and fiberglass and plastic is alot lighter than polyurethane.

........... but they'll go with carbon fiber parts over fiberglass anytime

Personally, I like fiberglass because it's fixable and easily modified. My kit is Fiberglass...I'll let other decided of what they think about the black finish on it when they see it in person...
