Default need quick help for fluids

i need to find this quick but the search option has failed me

i need to do a drain and fill on my 99 gs400. i need to know what type and how many litres/quarts/imperial quarts i need for the following:

-transmission? i was told toyota type T-IV 1.9litres/1.42quarts/1.7imperial quarts, but the mechanic says it needs more.

- differential? SAE 90 API GL-5? i am running a supra TT LSD rear end.

- coolant? i am clueless on this one...

thanks

I think the tranny requires 2 quarts maybe a little more. I recently used Amsoil ATF as suggested by DaShocker and many others. It definitely makes the tranny shift very smooth and is Lexus type T-IV compatible.

As far as the LSD, I also have a supra 3.76 LSD. I used Royal Purple Max Gear 75W90; you need about 2 quarts maybe a little less. You fill it until it starts to pour out. That stuff works great for this type of LSD.

The coolant, I have no idea; just use what's recommended.
GL!

i'm going to have trouble with the coolant. the previous owner did not use toyota red and it's conventional green coolant. i'm thinking if i did just a regular drain and fill, it's not going to be enough... not sure what color green and red mixed together will give me

i went to read up on dashocker's thread about amsoil atf... any idea how many quarts i would need to if i do the power fluid exchange? there is a shop that has that unit, but they do not carry amsoil, so i would have to bring it in myself.

Well, probably the amount that GSoup mentioned above for a complete fill. Maybe more because you are going to want to flush it first with new fluid then drain then do a final re-fill again. Mine was expensive because Amsoil is not cheap especially when you have to buy 8 or more qts. I think I paid almost $100 just for the Amsoil ATF when they were doing my tranny flush and installing my PI TC; if my memory serves me well...but it's been a little skittish lately. lol
