AC issues with LS 430
Surprise! After starting engine only hot air is blowing in my face! There was no noise, nothing seemed to break. Otherwise car drives great as usual.
How can I tell what is wrong with the Ac before I have to see the dealer? How do you see the diagnostic codes or malfunction messages on the 2005 LS 430 display?
Any DIY fix postings out there? Someone help!

Well sir, you can read through the rest of this thread and see if any of those possible fixes helps you. Pretty much covered most of the common soultions.
Oh, one more thing, maybe post this in the LS section of the forum. Those guys may be more knowledgeable of the problem and possible solutions.

Blowing warmer out of the passenger side vs the driver side sounds like low freon to me. Thats what my car was doing. Just buy a cheap can of r134a at your local parts store... hook it up to your low side fitting near your driver headlight... compare it to the ambient air chart that comes with the can and go from there...
