Ok, I was washing the car tonight, and since my rear door doesnt lock or unlock with the key, I reached in and locked it and shut it, a few seconds later, all of my windows rolled down, the doors unlocked and the sunroof opened. Now, my key seems worthless and wont lock or unlock anything and the truck wont open from the key either. When I try to use the key to lock or unlock the doors, nothing???

I assume I somehow reset some factory setting or something, any ideas from anyone? I kinda need some help here because I cant really take the car anywhere and leave it since I am not sure how to lock it up?

Possible the 'unlock' button on your key is stuck under the edge/lip of the key. Take a look and see if it appears to be depressed. Possibly even open it up and take off the outer part of the key to be sure

Did you try changing your battery in your key?

Thanks guys, I tried my spare key and checked out the original key for those things, neither seem to work.

The wierd thing is the doors wont unlock even when I use the key in manual mode...

Ok, this is bizzare I think, but it could be me, I went back down to the car, got in, locked and unlocked the doors from the inside, drivers door lock on door panel. got out, and the key works... but

That madness happens to me all the time. Please, if anyone know why this happens let me know. It drives me crazy sometimes. I'll be in a rush, hit the lock button and all the windows go down, the remote respose also. Then I click the door button ( in the car) twice and it works again. Can not figure out why it would do this.

Yeah, it happened to me again... at least I knew the short term fix
