Quietest sounding exhaust???
Ok guys it's time to upgrade my exhaust but im not sure what brand to go with. I have only heard borla so far but wanted to know if there is anything a little quieter than this brand. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Katen

I've recently had the opportunity to hear them both for about two days straight...Bitkahuna has then and he was in Asheville with us...
If you want quiet, keep the OEM

K-10,
If you want the Borla's but a little quieter (less hum in the car), read this thread about the venturies you can add to your Borla's to make them a bit quieter.
I have no personal knowledge of them (I like the sound of mine as they are), but here's the link -->

oem is quietest
Agree with Dexter – we had a muff-off (not what you think!) at a recent Dallas CL meet and listened to Borla mufflers, Borla Carbon Fiber tips, L-Tuned, and Greddy - one after another. The general opinion was Borla was quietest, L-Tuned next, Carbon fiber tips, and Greddy – going from quietest to “loudest”. All sounded good (to me) and the Greddy wasn’t objectionable. And again, Dexter is right on – if you feel that Borla is too loud, keep the oem.

One more item to consider:
When / If you get an intake, it will amplyfy the sounds expelled from your GS with a modified exhaust,
I loved the growl before I got my SRT intake, now its even better...

Dexter: Your exhaust with the intake sounded awesome from outside the car. Wheels spinning, intake snarling and the mufflers growling! Nice.....
garnet92: Dagnabbit it! Dexter didn't tell me about a "muff-off"

If you don't want a loud exhaust, I'd suggest you to stick with OEM ones as aftermarket exhaust (cat-back) doesn't offer many horsepower gain (7hp gain at peak for borla SS).
Personally speaking I think Borla is quiet and but my family still complains about it sometimes.
