Rear Spoiler on Ebay for my GS430??
Guys, I was thinking of getting a rear spoiler for my GS430 to complete stock sport package look, since I have stock 17" wheels. Dealer charges arm and leg. I was thinking of buying it on Ebay painted. Anyone had any bad experience with those OEM look spoilers or any experience at all. Some input is needed? Here is one I was considering:

The only problem with buying one pre painted is that there is a good chance it will not match your paint. I would look in the classified section here on CL and if need be post a wanted thread and then take it to a body shop and have them paint it to match. This may be a little more expensive but in the long run you will be better off

I got my sport design lip painted from spoilerdepot.com. They also have their items on ebay. I submitted them my color code and the color of the item they shipped matches perfectly. Fitment is also very descent. I'm very happy with them.

I have a 2004 GS430 OEM spoiler with mounting brackets in mint condition. This spoiler came from the factory, not the dealer. I decided to do a JP lip spoiler with my Vertex bodykit so the spoiler is available. Only problem is that it is gold, not black. I do live in Florida, too - Southeast Florida. PM me for details and I can supply pix, too.

I also bought a prepainted oem style from spoiler depot on ebay for my gs- my color is black and it matched perfect- no complaints. I first checked with the lexus dealer- they said that gs with the spoiler from the factory comes with some kind of mounting brackets that nonspoiler cars don't have and therefore i could't just buy a oem from them- they said that what they would do was essentially just order something that looked "similiar" and install it for me to the tune of 600 bucks- i said no thanks - spoiler depot was about 170 if i remember and put it on diy

The seller on eBay has great pricing, however I can't speak for the color matching or how easily the 3rd Brake light is to hook-up. I've been looking at his item for a while now, but I'm still not sure that stock is the way I want to go. His feedback seems to indicate that you can't go wrong.

I haven't used that guy, but I did use Spoilerdepot for my Honda Accord. The paint was a dead match, but the LED was sub par. A few LEDs went deal after a year. I was pretty disappointed. Also, the wing was heavy and I had to add a trunk spring. Not sure if thats the case with this seller. He seems to indicate that the wing is really light.
