LEXISM....
my door lock went out also...
if you think the problem is small...is isnt...the problem is big. haha...(why am I laughing...the damn thing cost 200+ each...i dunno?)
I just ordered an actuator from carson and let me tell you....its a pretty big mechanism.... I will be doing a DIY step by step of the install in the upcoming days when my car gets out of the shop.

My passenger front door lock actuator just went out about a week ago. I am planning on replacing it myself. I have been checking around for part prices and the best I have found so far is partsdiscountwarehouse.com for $188 plus shipping. This sounds like a good deal, but I know nothing about the vendor.

My drivers door lock was acting up. Would partially lock/unlock but wouldn't work so I had to manually lock/unlock the drivers door with the key. Pissed me off. Big fancy Lexus and I walk up and use my key like I did with my 1991 Prelude in college. Made an appointment with the service department to get it fixed and what do you know, it started to work again after 5 weeks of not working. Ever heard of one just starting to work again? Got to love Murphy's Law! I figure it will probably go out again.

Horacio, If I end up purchasing the actuator assembly from partsdiscountwarehouse.com I will post feedback on my experience with the vendor. I am a liitle hesitant to pull the trigger and make the order as there is no phone number available on the website in case I have problems. The part is only $12 more on irontoad.com, so I may end up ordering from them.
