ABS delete on 1994
Considering deleting the ABS system on the GS300 I Just picked up.
I did it on the 1993 I had, but it ended up a race car, so it didn't matter.
What I am wondering is, in stock GS300, our even a swapped gte one, will it effect the engine control in any way?
I'm not using the factory TRAC traction control either. Mine is drilled out of the tb, and I just plug it in. It actuates like normal, but there is no plate to close.
I guess it won't matter, but it will look so much cleaner in the engine bay, will make routing my dp easier too. And I really don't like ABS.

You're going to throw a code, so you might need to have a resister to stop that, it shouldn't ever effect engine control but that code might trip an auto transmission into limp mode. I left mine but I like ABS! I just wish I could relocate it and re-route the lines better.

Yea, that is what I was thinking of, if it will trip out the ecu and cause a limp mode. considering it is JDM 1993 model I don't know if it was that intrusive back then.
I can research and find the resistance that the sensor looking for and just wire it in though I'm sure. Pretty sure I am going to delete it though, will be so much easier to clean the underhood and maintain, and won't have to worry about it failing down the road since the car will be a DD.
