I just did this mod, and I noticed that our C2's are already "shimmed" form factory with a smaller stronger spring. I think thats why 2nd to 3rd and 3 to 4th shift fine while first 1 to 2nd seems to burn up the clutch packs.

I shimmed b2 and we'll see how it works out, if all goes well i should be not hitting revlimit in 1/2nd shift's anymore...

Don't know whats wrong with my original trans still but oh well going to throw in my spare with this mod.
