When I crank my car, right as it turns over I hear this sound that's kinda like a Goose honk, its like,"bonnnk" until the engine is fully cranked. No clue what that is, anyone have any idea??? Also when I'm sittin still and i turned my wheel, u know the sound that a fan makes as it hits ur hand, that "flap flap flap flap" sound. It makes that unless I'm moving, any idea on that one too??? Oh and this might be normal, but when it's cold and I'm driving for the 1st time in the morning, and I hit a bump or something I hear this kinda,"jiggle wiggle" like a fenders loose, anyone wanna give a guess at that sound? I hope someone knows what at least one noise is. thanks

Yeah probably alot of it 's engine mounts.

i just noticed them today. but the jiggle wiggle sound has been doin that for a while when it's a cold start. how much are engine mounts to get checked/replaced? and do i have to replace them? are they crucial? i know they hold the engine in place basically, but beyond that i have not one clue.

well i paid $170 and got a new tensioner pulley or whatever that joker is. it stopped makin this flippity flap clank when i turn for a little while. but now it's back, turns out my alternators almost dead, time to get a new one. how much are they at autozone?

I got my denzo alternator from my mechanic but expect to pay around 250.00 for it.

haha im sorry but it's just gettin funny, now when i turn the wheel hard over. it sounds like a dying donkey gettin hit by a bike. its a little embarrassing, i hope that my car doesnt decide to just freeze up and die.

Have you changed the power steering fluid yet or checked the pump?

well i went and got an alternator, but once we got it up on the lift in the shop. we were lookin and feelin around on the car. the harmonic balance was pretty much broken in half, we had felt on it before. but not like directly on it, the thing was just hanging there. the donkey sound was from when it spun and rubbed against the other metal that it was up against. we were surprised it didnt fly off and tear my engine to hell. but i got a new one for $260 and got my car fixed today. so sweet action.

Check the engine mounts from all the vibration.

I don't think it is engine mounts.

Both of mine were completely broken. I didn't know it until I pulled the engine.
