Ohio intrest answered: Show in Findlay Ohio June 19th
I've been checking up on Club Lexus every so often to gauge Ohio show intrest, and i'd say it's definately there.
We would like to extend an invitation to everyone at Club Lexus to attend our show, the 2004 Toyota Enthusaist Auto Show.
Last year was our first show and was limited to only the Toyota brand. With just forum posting for advertising, we managed to get 28 people to show. However, this year we are including Lexus and Scion and already have had pretty good response from IS300.net. We're aiming for 50 entries this year.
When: Saturday June 19th
Time: 8.30 am to 3-ish
Where: LaRiche Toyota, Findlay Ohio - Front Lot
Who: Toyotas, Lexus, Scion
What: Pictures, Civic smashing, Dash Plaques, trohies, BBQ, good ole fun!
Others: May find an Autocross on Sunday if anyone is willing to stay. Classic car show cruise in town the same night with 800 particpants.
If you would like more information or if you would like to sign up, please visit our webpage at Team Phatrides.com.
Thanks for checking this out and we hope to see you there!

I'd like to stop by ...is there a daily year round driver category?....LOL
and now for something completely different..........
Still can't believe drifting is such a huge attraction......just drive to work in northern Ohio during the winter with the stock Goodyear GT+4's ...........traction control light works overtime.
Switched to the Goodyear GW3 winter tire, suprisingly makes the car quite competent in the ice and snow....no more white knuckle driving, just got to avoid everyone else

I'm not a big fan of the whole drifting thing either. My celica is a daily driver and if those tires can last 5000 miles longer i'm a happy guy.
We plan to have 5 awards: 1st and runner up for both "regular" (celicas, mr2s, scions, etc) and "high-end" classes (lexuses, supras etc). The 5th trophy is awarded to the dealers favorite overall pick.
we only have one requirement to enter your car: you must be proud to drive it. anything else goes.
