Toyota and Lexus themselves, being reputable companies, wouldn't do this, of course......but, too many times, after a big flooding event, too many flood-damaged vehicles, after a quick dry-off and a hastily-done attempt to hide flood damage, end up back on the used-car (or even new-car) market.......or raffled away at public car-auctions. There's a long list of victims each year who wind up with these lemons. That's why it's so important to do a thorough inspection when buying a car.....or take someone along who knows what to look for.
