This key will work with the same serial number on Lexus key
(FCC ID:HYQWDT-B). it comes with a blank key blade. all you need to do is have any Lexus dealer reprogram your remote, that would work with your car.

I am looking for this key , basically i have this same exact key with the same fcc id # except for my 1996 lexus es300.., the key works fine IT used to open and unlock the doors with the black button on the side but stopped working all of a sudden. i thought it was the battery which i replaced but that wasnt the case . i have the exact instructions to reprogramming the key so i guess id be better off with a new one just like this , where did u get one , or where can i get one ?

I am looking for one also, other than at the Lexus dealers, where can you get these blank keys that will fit into the remote?

I also could use this. actually I am looking for just the plastic one button head. My problem is that the back half (the one that holds the battery in and has the FCC# on it) is missing. Yup GONE! So is there any way to find out which one I need? I am told that there are 2 different non interchangable possibilities. Would the dealer be able to tell me from my vin?
