2016 Lexus ES Refresh Officially Unveiled

I owned a Japan built RX and now own a Canadian built RX. I cannot see any obvious difference in quality. Having owned a Tundra built in Indiana, an Avalon built in Kentucky and two Japan built Priuses, I still don't see a significant difference in quality between the vehicles and the country they were "assembled" in. This same debate has occurred in the RX forum since some still come from Japan while most now come from Ontario. It is all a matter of opinion and it will be hard to prove one way or the other, but I don't subscribe to the notion that Japaneese built cars have better quality than the same manufacturer's US built cars.

I like it! Love the interior upgrades and the rear end, looks like the cheap clip on exhaust finishers are gone.
Wheels look a little small from a couple of those angles.

Darth Vader's golf club ride Too bad they don't make a mesh F-Sport style grille, I'm still waiting to see the mod from the guy who grafted on a GS F-sport bumper to the ES. I think a matte gray border on the spindle looks better than the garish chrome thing.

Had this been the ES that was out when I traded my 2010 I might have gotten another one instead of the GS.
