I have a 2014 ES300H that I just purchased. After driving around for a while I parked it in the garage. After it had been sitting in the garage for around 6 hours, I hear a motor or fan type noise coming from the trunk area. It lasted for several minutes and then stopped. Can someone tell me if that is normal and what the noise might be.

It's normal. There are several clicks, motor sounds, and such that come one an off on the hybrid systems within a couple of hours of turning it off. It is covered in the user guide.
