I'm installing the Lexus OEM Remote Start System and I'm stuck on the registration part. It says I have to plug in the 1P RES Diagnostic connectors to the harness but I can't find them anywhere in the passenger cowl. Please help.

PS: I even sliced out protective tapes but could not locate them, the instruction manual is not cleared

Look closely at the page of the instructions titled "Wire Harness Outline", page 3 of the instructions. The connectors (M) and (N) are part of the wire harness that comes with the kit. You connect them to each other for the registration procedure, and disconnect them at the end. (Note that the registration procedure requires Techstream system. This installation is usually done by the dealer.)
